Vision Ridge Partners (“Vision Ridge” or the “Firm”), a global sustainable real assets investor, today announced that Jason O’Briant has joined the Firm as Head of Portfolio Talent. In this newly created role, he will build and lead a value-creating talent function dedicated to Vision Ridge’s portfolio companies.
Mr. O’Briant has more than 30 years of experience across three vantage points of value to Vision Ridge, including spending over 20 years inside global operating companies in senior human resources and organizational effectiveness roles, working as a member of the sponsor business at Blackstone and advising private equity-backed companies. At Vision Ridge, he will partner with the investment team as well as with portfolio company boards and management teams on senior leadership assessment, hiring, and succession, and on organizational design to support inflection points in a portfolio company’s growth. He will work closely with PJ Jannuzzi, Managing Director and Head of Asset Management, who joined Vision Ridge in 2025.

Most recently, Mr. O’Briant founded O’Briant Advisory, LLC, an independent advisory focused on senior leadership effectiveness and organizational design for private equity-backed companies. Previously, as Managing Director, Human Resources at Blackstone, he supported organizational design, talent strategy and compensation for new and existing business units. Before that, he spent nearly 16 years at Pfizer Inc., where he held increasingly senior human resources and organizational effectiveness roles across major commercial businesses, global manufacturing and logistics. He began his career at Georgia-Pacific Corporation, where he spent five years leading human resources and safety at two wood products manufacturing plants. Mr. O’Briant earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University and a Master of Business Administration from Union University.
